Melee Battle, 4/27

Stage One: Stand and be Counted!

In order for a hero to be truly ready for battle, each must practice techniques over a long period of time. To that end, each week there will be battles, be they face-to-face or, through sorcery, far removed in space and time. As you gain in skills, some may seek to lead the melee battles; will it be you? Whether this happens or not, everyone will practice and hone their skills. This will require great study on your part (see the list of readings in the magic matrix in the world of eZ), and all must participate in the melee to learn to turn that knowledge into skills, but as advanced questers, you are all capable. Melee battles will happen each week and will be conducted live or through the magic Blackboard. See the Readings & Participation spell sheet in the Spell Sheets section for more details on how this will be managed and graded.

Stage 2: Let Your Voice be Heard!

For this stage, you must attest to having made your presence know to others by responding as described in the spell sheet for our conclaves. In Blackboard, navigate to the discussion forum for this week, enter/expand each thread, and mark all of the posts that you made (place a check mark next to them). Hit "Collect" to gather them all up and take a screenshot of your posts. Upload the image(s) here to complete this stage.

Stage 3: A Hero Walks Among Us!

For this stage, you must have gone above and beyond by taking a primary role in the melee. Did you pose new questions? Did you bring in past experience and help others to do more themselves? If so, this level is yours for the taking! As with the last stage, upload the screenshots of your posts that show you have mastered the quest. These may be the same images as for the last stage, but they must show you went above and beyond to truly make our conclave better--number of posts is not, by itself, enough!
